|Recommended: YesBest Apartment I've Lived In — This place so far 10 months has been by far one of the best places that I've rented. Everything is brand new and the community is all generally respectful. The pool and gym are always clean despite constant usage. Extremely dog friendly community as well.

|Recommended: YesGreat things at Avalon so far — Prior to moving in to Avalon, leasing staff Stephen who helped us throughout our apartment search was fantastic. He was very prompt and helped us tremendously. Upon moving in, apartment and grounds are very nice and well kept. So far we are enjoying our apartment and convenience of the surroundings at Avalon at James Island.

|Recommended: YesReview — Trash lying around on the sidewalks that gets left there for days and days. Some things in the apartment look like they were just put together as quickly as possible and weren't built with quality in mind. Maintenance team is great, very quick to respond. Pool area gym is really nice.

|Recommended: YesMaintenance Staff is awesome and quick — I submitted a maintenance request for my garbage disposal, and within not even 30 minutes they came immediately, fixed it, and were nice and friendly They did a fantastic job.

Very nice and new
Ten foot ceilings, LVP flooring, spacious closet, kitchen and bathroom with deep tubs.
Well landscaped and very nice clubhouse, pool and workout room.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons
Need to secure hallways properly, some gates don't latch and mailroom is completely open to residents hallways from outside i.e. no gate.
Need to clamp down on dog owners cleaning up after their dogs.
To few parking spaces, many are way too small.
Many residents balconies need to be cleaned up
